Product Description
Yannie Handicraft focuses on environmental friendly handmade goods. Mainly using ingredients and material that are basically trash or usually took from the nature. Here are some of our products;
Abaka fiber comes from the stem of the Abaka Banana Plant (Musa Textillis). This endemic plant is found in the Talaud Islands. Abaka fiber is known to be strong, flexible and beautiful in color, very suitable to be used as raw material for fashion products such as bags, hats, clothes and also women’s accessories.
North Sulawesi's oceans are abundant in resources. We may find any type of fish here, including Red Snapper and Parrot fish, which are especially popular among the locals. Despite its beauty, many of its scales have ended up in a wasteland, where they are unwanted. We are here to turn those scales into a work of art that people can wear and cherish, including youon the art of wood decoration. Semiotically, all the elements in it have meaning.
